Pellet manufacturers positioned in the eastern region of India, having an advantage of being port based, explored export possibilities when domestic Pellet prices touched all time low at INR 6,100/MT (Ex Barbil) in July 2013. Deals were won and Pellet exports were seen happening to China, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Vietnam.
