Imported scrap prices in Turkey have remained supported in a recent deal concluded from US, sources have confirmed to SteelMint. The cargo comprised 5,000 t of shredded, 25,000 t P&S and 20,000 t HMS (95:5) at an average price of $445/t CFR Turkey basis. The deal was concluded last week but the news came in the market yesterday. Scrap suppliers continue to hold a positive price outlook for near term. However, trades are expected to remain slow amid Ramadan.
