China: Baosteel increases HRC list price by RMB 400/t ($61) for May ’21 delivery

China’s leading steel manufacturer, Baosteel has released its flat steel product list prices today for May ’21 delivery.

According to the official publication, the list price of-

• HRC increased by RMB 400/t ($61)
• Heavy plates prices increase by RMB 500/t ($76)
• CRC moved up by RMB 150/t ($23)
• Color coated price moved up by RMB 150/t ($23)
• However, hot galvanized products remain unchanged.

The rise in price is on the back of the strong futures along with continued uncertainty on export rebate cuts.
