Mahindra & Mahindra has signed MoU with Mahindra MSTC Recycling Private Limited (MMRPL) for offering end-to-end vehicle scrapping solutions to customers. According to a company release, the agreement with MMRPL will enable customers to purchase a new Mahindra Vehicle by exchanging the old vehicle which is more than 15 years old. This can be done at any Mahindra dealership. Notably, last month Union Minister Nitin Gadkari announced a voluntary vehicle scrappage policy in the Lok Sabha while highlighting the fact that the measure is in harmony with new technology that promises to usher in a win-win situation for all.
