India: Auto vehicle registrations surge by 10% m-o-m in Mar ’21

The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA), today released Monthly Vehicle Registration Data for Mar ’21.

• Auto Registrations grew by 10% m-o-m last month.
• Tractors and Passenger Vehicles sustained its healthy momentum by growing 13% and 10% m-o-m.
• Further, on a monthly basis, 2-wheeler, 3-wheeler & CV, grew by 9.5%, 14%, and 14% respectively.
• The Passenger vehicle waiting period continued to hold its ground and remained as high as seven months as scarcity of semiconductors remained put.
• Dealer inventory days for PV & 2-wheeler inventory remained in the range of 10-15 and 30-35 days.
