State-owned SAIL has floated export tenders for 18,500 t of mild steel non-alloy concast slab and 10,000 t of prime mild steel non-alloy hot-rolled plates from its Rourkela Steel Plant. The last date of both the tenders is 08 Apr ’21 and the shipment is scheduled to be delivered by the end of May. The company’s last slab export tender for end of Apr shipment was canceled as it received bids slightly lower than $600/t FoB against expectations of $610-615/t FoB, SteelMint understands.
