South Africa: Manganese ore exports decrease by 17% in Feb’21

South African Manganese Ore exports fell by 17.6% m-o-m in Feb ’21. The reasons behind the decline of manganese ore exports from South Africa are:

• Increased manganese ore prices
• Low availability of containers
• Production cut caused by heavy rainfall.

The current Manganese ore price for Mn 37% grade is at $4.7/dmtu, CNF China.
