The operating rate of HC ferrochrome plants in Inner-Mongolia in Mar ’21 was 47.62%, down by 28.57% m-o-m. Meanwhile, the ferrochrome output is estimated to be at 200,000t, down by 50,000t against the previous month. This can be attributed to the increased energy consumption limitations and shutdowns in various parts of Inner Mongolia. This region contributes to around 65% of the total ferrochrome production in China.
