Japan’s largest steelmaker Nippon Steel has raised flat steel product prices sharply by JPY 10,000/t (equivalent to $91/t) for May shipments, Japan Metal Daily reported. Hike in global flat steel prices due to demand-supply mismatch and costlier raw material have resulted in price hike.
