Spot iron ore price (Fe 62% fines) yesterday fell by $1.15/t to $166.55/t CFR China. Strong selling interest was observed for May-loading cargoes, with end-users looking to resell contracted cargoes amid high premiums for medium grade fines, which created pressure on spot iron ore prices. Meanwhile, market participants also saw continued buying interest for April loading cargoes in contrast with limited offers.
