Odisha’s leading miner – Odisha Mining Corp (OMC) has scheduled its next iron ore e-auction today. The base price has been increased further by INR 1,300/t over the base price released on 26th Mar. The auction is being conducted for 1.13 mn t iron ore lumps. In addition to its mines Daitari, Gandhamardhan, Koira, and Tiringpahar, the miner has offered material from its newly acquired Guali and Jilling mines. They have raised base price up to INR 1,850/t against its last auction held towards early Feb’21. Lump prices in Odisha have been increasing due to tight availability.
