MSTC-Karnataka conducted a manganese ore auction on behalf of Sandur Mines (SMIORE) on 24th Mar ’21. The entire quantity of 12,096t was booked at 6.79% higher than the floor price amid improved demand for silicomanganese in the market. Despite rising prices of Mn Ore, SMIORE kept the base price unchanged from the previous auction to garner greater buying interest.
