Heavy structural steel manufacturers in Raipur – one of the major heavy structural steel supply markets in Central India, have increased their price by INR 1,000/t. The current offer for 150 mm Channel stands at INR 44,000/t exw. Sellers also offered trade discounts depending on the quantity and market requirement. Demand recovery, improvement in trade activities and increasing semi-finished steel prices resulted in price hike, trade sources reported to SteelMint.
