Induction grade rebar prices have witnessed an uptick by INR 200-900/t d-o-d in most of the major markets across India. As per SteelMint’s sources, rebar demand from end users remained active as they are trying to complete their works before the festive holidays. Along with this, rising semi-finished steel prices by up to INR 1,000/t also supported rebar price hike.
