In a confirmed deal, 5,000 tonne of RB2 coal has been sold at INR 6,800/t ex-Gangavaram. Offers are now being heard at INR 7,000/t ex-Gangavaram, INR 7,300/t ex-Haldia, INR 7,200/t ex-Mangalore. Sellers are confident of offers finding acceptance among the buyers as non coking coal import prices have risen sharply on logistical concerns in S.Africa and flooding in Australia.
