In today’s auction conducted by SAIL for 140,000 t dump iron ore fines (Fe 60%), bids fell by around INR 400/t against the previous auction held on 10 Mar’21. The auction received bids for the entire offered quantity at INR 2,500/t (excluding Royalty & other taxes) from its Bolani mines in Odisha. Bids have fallen owing to increased iron ore fines availability in the market.
