The Philippines-based mill reportedly having booked 20,000 t billets (5 sp grade) from Russia recently. According to the SteelMint sources, the deal value noted was at $595-600/t, CFR Manila. According to the data maintained with SteelMint, the country imported around 2.5 mn t of billets during CY ’20, with Russia, Vietnam, and India as the predominant suppliers.
