China – the world’s largest consumer and importer of iron ore has recorded crude iron ore (ROM) production at 129.3 mn t in Jan-Feb’21, up by 16% y-o-y, according to the data released by the National Bureau of Statistics. The production has increased on resumption post Covid related disruptions and supported by strong steel demand.
