South Korean mills book two bulk scrap cargoes from the US

South Korea-based mills have booked two cargo of USA origin bulk scrap recently for May deliveries, SteelMint gathered from sources. The first cargo comprised 45,000 t of HMS1 at $431/t CFR basis and the second cargo booked was for 30,000t HMS1 at $432/t CFR basis. South Korea recorded scrap import volumes of 0.34 mn t in Feb’21, up by 79% m-o-m.
