Billet prices in Hyderabad, Southern India have dropped by INR 500/t after remaining stable at INR 40,500/t for five consecutive days, as per SteelMint assessment. The current offer for billet stands at INR 40,000/t exw. According to the sources, competitive offers from outside plants (Raipur) at INR 40,500/t FoR Hyderabad amid weak sentiments in Northern India remained as the major factors behind the drop in offers.
