Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) conducted an auction from its Central India based Bhilai Steel Plant for defective steel products on 10 Mar ’21.The bid prices for bloom remains stable against the previous auction conducted on 02 Mar’21.
A total quantity of 10,942 t of defective steel was put up for auction, in which 94.06% material was sold out and 649 t remained unsold.
Next BSP defective steel auction is scheduled on 19 Mar’21 for 14,500 t.
SteelMint’s billet index stood at (Exw Raipur) = Rs 38,550(+450) on 10 Mar’21.
