Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction today (16th Mar’21) for 104,000 t iron ore fines (Fe 60.8% grade) from its Barsua mines in Odisha. The company received bids for 64,000 t at a base price of INR 2,300/t (loaded, excluding royalty), authentic sources confirmed to SteelMint. Bids have remained largely stable compared with the company’s previous auction from Barsua held on 09th Mar’21 which fetched bids at INR 2,250/t.
