With the aim to ensure seamless raw materials sourcing for projected upgrade in steel-making capacity to over 8 mn t per annum, AM/NS India is on track to upgrade pellet capacity at its Paradip plant from 6 mn t to 12 mn t/per annum. The feed for the plant is to be supplied from the iron ore beneficiation unit in Dabuna. The pellet unit’s proximity to Paradip Port is expected to ensure uninterrupted supply for the Hazira steel plant in Gujarat.
