Steel Authority of India (SAIL) has invited an export tender for 16,000 t slabs from Bhilai Steel Plant, Chhattisgarh. The shipment of the tender is scheduled for end Apr ’21. The tender due date is 16 Mar’21. Slab prices in the global market have moved up on higher flat steel costs and a hike in HRC prices.
