Vietnam’s Formosa lifts HRC offer by $45 m-o-m

Vietnam’s domestic steelmaker- Formosa Ha Tinh (FHS) having an installed crude steel capacity of 7 mn t has announced a steep hike in its monthly HRC offers by $45/t for May deliveries. Revised offers for skin pass HRC ( SAE 1006) stands around $765-770/t CIF basis, SteelMint learned from Vietnam sources. The sharp increase in imported HRC offers from India, China has led to increase in domestic HRC price.
