SAIL conducted an auction for 8,550 t (2,850 t x 3 rakes) of basic grade pig iron on 10 Mar ’21 from its Bokaro Steel Plant, Jharkhand. Out of three rakes auctioned, one rake (2,850 t) was booked at INR 33,950/t and remaining two rakes (5,700 t) were booked at INR 34,200/t exw, sources reported to SteelMint. Bids moved up by INR 200/t as compared to the previous auction conducted on 03 Mar ’21 for two rakes. The last auction was concluded at INR 34,000/t exw.
