Raipur (Central India) based one of the major secondary steel plants, SKS Ispat and Power Limited has commenced rebar (SKS Fe 500) production from its new rolling mill having a production capacity of 12,000 t per month, company official reported to SteelMint. Besides rebar, the company is a major producer of wire rod and heavy structural steel as well with an overall rolling capacity of around 45,000 t per month. Currently, the rebar trade reference price for 10-25 mm size in Raipur stands at INR 42,400-42,600/t exw.
