Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction yesterday (5th Mar’21) for 84,000 t iron ore fines (Fe 55-58% grade) from its Dalli mines in Chhattisgarh. As per trade sources report to SteelMint, the company did not receive any participation in the auction, due to the low-grade ore offered. Low-grade ore have failed to fetch participation in last few auctions from Chhattisgarh mines.
