India’s crude steel production registered 2% m-o-m decrease at 9.79 mn t during Feb ’21 as against 10 mn t during Jan ’21, according to Joint Plant Committee (JPC) report. The same fell by 8% y-o-y to 93.1 mn t in Apr ’20-Feb ’21 compared to 101 mn t during the same period last year due to pandemic.
