Brazil iron ore exports rise 11% y-o-y in Feb’21

Brazil-world’s second-largest iron ore exporter recorded increase in exports to 24.1 mn t in Feb’21, up by 11% y-o-y. However, on monthly basis exports have moved down 17% as against 29 mn t in Jan’21, according to trade statistics released by Brazil customs. The exports dropped amid lunar New Year holidays which decreased Chinese buying during the month.
