Steel Authority of India (SAIL) has scheduled an auction on 05 Mar ’21 for 19,100 t (52 & 60 kg-full length) commercial rails from its Bhilai Steel Plant, Chhattisgarh. In the previous auction conducted on 23 Feb for 25,500 t, buyers booked 24,500 t (rail 60 kg) at INR 30,100/t exw, 600 t ( rail 52 kg) at INR 41,500/t exw and the remaining 400 t was left unsold.
