Melting scrap prices witnessed slight fluctuations by up to INR 500/t in various regions. In the Northern region, prices saw a marginal fall by INR 200-300/t whereas, in other markets, it gained by INR 200-500/t. Inadequate future bookings in semi-finished steel have turned buyers cautious and led to minor fluctuations today.
