Indian pig iron export prices have hit a one-month high in the recent deal confirmed for around 30,000-35,000 t. Western India based pig iron manufacturer has concluded steel grade pig iron export deal for end Mar’21 shipment at around $500/t FoB India, with China as the likely destination, sources reported to SteelMint. Indian pig iron export prices have hit around one-month high. Pig iron price hike in the global market and active Chinese buying after new year holidays has resulted in surge in offers.
