Iran’s leading steel exporter had floated an export tender for 30,000 t billets. According to SteelMint’s sources, the company concluded the tender at $555-560/t, FoB Iran. The shipment is likely to be scheduled for by end-Mar ’21 with China as the likely destination. Iranian billet export prices have hit a one-month high after this deal.
