Today the billet prices in the Tangshan market (northeast China) witnessed a rise of RMB 50 ($8), against yesterday. The billet transactions were weak, while finished steel prices remained broadly stable. The prices of commonly traded Q235 billet 150mm diameter were reported at RMB 4,280/t ($664/t) in Tangshan, including 13 % VAT.
