Govt. owned – Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction today for 4,800 t (steel grade) pig iron from its Rourkela Steel Plant, Odisha. Buyers booked the entire quantity at a weighted average price of INR 34,900/t exw. In the previous auction from RSP conducted on 20 Feb ’21, the entire quantity (4,900 t) was concluded at a weighted average price of INR 35,150/t exw.
