China: Shagang Steel to suspend operations at an HRC Line on 10-day maintenance

China’s leading steelmaker- Shagang Steel is planning to put its 1,700 mm HRC line on care and maintenance for 10 days in Mar’21, credible sources reported to SteelMint. This temporary shutdown of the HRC line will affect approximately 80,000-100,000 t of HRC output. However, the output of other specifications such as 1200-1350 mm remains unaffected.
