Indian government-owned SAIL has scheduled three auctions for a total of 14,450 t pig iron. The 1st auction is to be held on 24 Feb ’21 for 8,550 t from Bokaro Steel Plant, the 2nd auction is to be conducted from Rourkela Steel Plant for 4,800 t and lastly, from Durgapur Steel Plant for 1,100 t. The auction from Rourkela and Durgapur are scheduled on 25 Feb ’21. Previous auction from BSL was concluded at INR 32,800/t exw, auction from DSP received bids at INR 29,750/t exw and auction from RSP closed at INR 35,150/t exw.
