Gujarat based Mono Steel India Ltd (Mono TMT Fe 500) has further increased rebar price today by INR 600/t. Current offer for 12 mm rebar is at INR 45,250/t FoR Ahmedabad (excluding GST). However, as per SteelMint assessment, trade reference price on a w-o-w basis in the region increased by around INR 2,700/t. Rising raw material cost along with active buying inquiries and demand for rebar steel resulted in hike in prices, sources shared. The company has a rolling capacity of 0.22 mn t pa.
