India: Secondary rebar prices increase further by up to INR 700/t ($10)

Induction grade rebar prices continued its uptrend today, increasing further by INR 100-700/t d-o-d in all major supplying regions. Improved demand and transactions in rebar steel and rising semi-finished steel (ingot/billet) prices prompted manufacturers to increase their offer. Prices in the near term are expected to remain supportive specifically in Central and Western regions, trade sources reported to SteelMint.
