ICI4 index for popular grade 4200 GAR coal has dropped by $1/t w-o-w and is currently being assessed at $38.9/t, FoB basis. The inquiries for Indonesian coal from China have retreated owing to the ongoing Lunar New Year holidays. However, Indian buyers are back seeking Indonesian cargoes to take advantage of lower prices.
