Indian secondary rebar prices rise further

The Induction-grade rebar market saw limited buying inquiries today. Despite this, in most of the major supplying regions, prices moved up by INR 100-800/t d-o-d, SteelMint assessment shows. As per trade sources, manufacturers have kept their prices high on account of healthy transactions happening in the last few days and decrease in inventories at mills, despite fall in semi-finished steel prices and limited buying in the finished steel segment.
