AM/NS India has reported 6% increase in its crude steel production with 1.9 mn t in Q4 CY’20 compared to 1.8 mn t in Q3 CY’20. The demand for steel in India has improved post-unlock, as a result, the company is operating at higher utilizations levels at all its facilities, AM/NS India said in its report. The company has plans to debottleneck operations (steel shop and rolling parts) and achieve capacity of 8.6 mn t pa and medium term plans to expand and grow to 14 mn t pa.
