Steel Authority of India (SAIL) has scheduled an auction on 12 Feb ’21 for 25,000 t (52 & 60 kg-full length) commercial rails from its Bhilai Steel Plant, Chhattisgarh. The previous auction conducted last week for 26,300 t rails received poor response with only 500 t booked at INR 29,500/t ex-works. In the secondary steel auction conducted on 04 Feb’21, defective rails were concluded at INR 28,500/t ex-works.
