India: Bids decrease by INR 1,500/t ($20) in SAIL’s RSP pig iron auction

Govt. owned – Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction today for 10,000 t (steel grade) pig iron from its Rourkela Steel Plant, Odisha. Buyers booked the entire quantity at INR 28,950/t exw. In the previous auction from RSP conducted on 30 Jan ’21 entire quantity 5,400 t concluded at INR 30,450/t exw.
