Gujarat based Mono Steel India Ltd (Mono TMT Fe 500) has further reduced rebar offer by INR 500/t. Current offer for 12 mm rebar stands at INR 41,850/t FoR Ahmedabad (excluding GST), effective from today. Offers decreased by total INR 1,500/t this week. Lack of buying inquiries and dull demand remained as the major factors behind continuous price drop in rebar steel, sources told SteelMint. Mono Steel has a rolling capacity of 0.22 mn t pa.
