India: Bajaj Auto reports 8% y-o-y increase in total sales in Jan ’21

The leading two-wheeler and three-wheeler manufacturing company-Bajaj Auto Limited, has reported sales at 4, 25,199 units in the past month, up 8% y-o-y against 3, 94,473 units in Jan ’20. Two-wheeler sales stood at 1, 57,404 units in Jan ’21, practically on par with sales of 1, 57,796 sold in Jan ’20 while commercial vehicles recorded a dip of 35% y-o-y. On the other hand, the company witnessed the highest ever two-wheelers exports at 2, 27,532 units, up 30% y-o-y.
