Vedanta (FACOR) auctioned 2,200t of HC 60% ferrochrome of different sizes in 19 lots. For 10-50 mm size, bids were received in the range of INR 94,700-95,900/t. The participants in the auction were a mix of traders and Stainless-steel producers. Meanwhile, the bid price increased by 1% on average over the base price. The tender closed at relatively similar levels to the current market price of INR 95,000/t.
