Govt owned steelmaker- Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction from its Rajhara mines (Odisha) on 30th Jan’21, for 84,000 iron ore fines (Fe 56.33-60.06%). Out of the total quantity offered only 28,000 t (Fe 60.06%) received bids at INR 3,500/t (loaded into rakes and including royalty). The bids have dropped by upto INR 700/t against last auction held on on 13 Jan’21.
