Raipur, one of the major heavy structural steel supply markets in central India, has witnessed a sharp decline in offers by INR 1,000/t d-o-d basis, SteelMint learned from trade sources. The current offer for 150 mm Channel stands at INR 40,000/t. Continuously falling raw material cost and lack of demand in structural steel have resulted in the drop in prices.
